...Hating Fly Out Days

As most of you already know Joshua works away. Normally I am pretty good about it. It is just a part of our lives after all. And most the time I am even thankful for it because it has given us some amazing opportunities. However on fly out days... I hate that he works away. Fly out days are the worse. I know it is silly but part of me wants to cry every time he flies out. I miss him so much while he is away. Today Joshua sent me a msg that said that there was only 4 more fly out days till we fly out on our adventure. Only FOUR MORE. Thats so exciting.

Looking forward to our BIG FLY OUT DAY:)

...The Talented Women

I know some AH MAZING women. Strong confident women who are talented and sincere.

Yesterday a very very talented Peta Kingdon took photos of me. I was a little nervous in the beginning but honestly it was a lovely experience. I left the shoot feeling beautiful and confident. Not to mention the photos turned out great she is truly ridiculously talented. I will post some of the photos when she finishes editing them and also put a link to her website.

Today I got to meet a friend of mines new daughter girl Ryleigh. She is cute and completely adorable. While I have no intention of having children in the foresee able future I couldn't help loving the little nugget a little bit. I know Loz and Andrew are going to be terrific parents.

And later on today a friend of mind emailed me and offered to clean up, organise and generally beautify my blog. In the shortest time ever she managed to make it look amazing. She also writes a blog and it is one of my favourites to follow. She has a honest and sincere personality that I really really admire and appreciate. I wished that we had been closer when we had the opportunity when we were younger. I think of all my old school friends she is someone who as we have gotten older we have grown more similar. As I follow her on both Facebook and through her blog I find that I admire and respect her more and more and I can see a lot of similarities between the women we have grown to become as adults. You should definately follow her blog at www.thestockporthotel.blogspot.com

Thats all for now I just wanted to share the love:)

...tick tock

Joshua and I are officially in to the count down phase of our adventure. It is 80 days until we fly out on our biggest adventure yet. And while it is exciting it is also frustrating. We are both working full on and saving our little butts off. We have both picked up second jobs with different motivation. Joshua has worked out on the mines for a long time and hasn't worked in retail for over 4 years. So last time he was home he started work in the Bottle shop. He did really well... it was very hard to not sexually harass my employee:) I have picked up work in my friends business as well. This is just one day a week. It is hard because work is so full on by the end of the week I am exhausted. But it is not forever and I have a feeling that it will go quickly. Or at least that is what I tell myself on Monday mornings when I have to go to work and would prefer to stay in bed. So we are officially counting down.

Eighty more sleeps,

Love Karen and Josh xo
