Our names are Josh and Karen. We currently live in a small beach town in Western Australia.
My name is Karen. But everyone calls me Macca. Everyone except Josh actually. Im a bartender. Well I am officially the Bar and Cafe Manager but a Bartender all the same. Love the outdoors. Love the ocean. Love to wakeboard and love to dance. I am a tomboy who can be girly. I am shy but can be quite outgoing. I love to stay home for a quiet night and I love to go out. For the last year I have worked in a Bar. Never thought that I would love it as much as I do. But working at the Bar has grown me as a person. I have changed in ways that I would never expect or saw coming but for what the last 12 months have taught me I wouldn't change it for the world.
Josh is a good man. A quiet man... at least until he gets a few drinks in him and then not so quiet :) Josh is kind. Josh is honest and stubborn. He is the kind of man that will put other people first and do anything for his loved ones. Josh is the kind of man you want in your corner. Josh works away at a Mine where he drives trucks underground.
To look at us you might wonder why. I am not sure why we work but somehow we do. Perhaps our opposite personalities and traits are what make us work. Maybe we are simply each others puzzle piece. For whatever reason for the last four years Josh and I have been inseparable. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
So thats our introduction. I know it has been short and sweet but often you get a better understanding of who someone is by spending time with them... or by reading their blog :)
