Dear Airlines, 20 kilos is just not enough!

Out of curiosity how do you pack for a year?! Any advice and please don't say just buy clothes over there or I may smack you in my frustration. I would just buy clothes over there and I am sure with time I will actually buy some but I want enough clothes to get me through the first few months without having to worry about needing to buy anything. Which brings me to one of my big big problems... In those first few months the tempreture goes from hot hot (in Vegas in the middle of Summer) to literally freezing cold (in Canada.)

When I was younger I moved so many times. Easily more than ten times and once I moved towns so I know how horrible it is to move. But never once has this moving been governed by a 20 kilo limit. Nor have I ever had the knowledge that whatever I have in my bag I will have to carry... long distances. Knowing that I will have to lug my backpack around inspires me with restraint despite my desire to pack my whole wardrobe. And another disastrious descision to make... what shoes do I take? It is like Sophies choice:)

And that is my whinge what a horrible drama to be faced with. Joshua on the other hand hasn't even started packing and is all *shruges shoulders* "I will just buy it over there." I am seriously considering sneaking some of my stuff into his bag. Wish me luck.

Love,

Karen and Josh
